PULP COVER FRIDAY BIDS A FOND FAREWELL TO NIPPY, BULL, AND G (BY NOW WE ARE ON A FIRST NAME BASIS)
Not much more to say, except a few brief notes. They finally get around to ringing in the Yellow Peril by 1938. Less animals, more guys with axes and/or intricate death machines. Finally, it just struck me as I was doing this. Is this the longest running pulp to never have a female character on its cover? You’d think they would have had at least one aviatrix over the years. Maybe I just missed it.
