Hey Folks, Scott P here. It’s been freaking forever since I posted anything on CM, and slightly less than forever since our most prolific writer JJM has posted, and I wanted to give our faithful readers a little bit of an update, because it’s killing me that the site has been dead for awhile.

Long story short: everyone who writes for CM has been buried under other projects — Don Adams has been hard at work editing Stash House (starring Dolph Lundgren) and El Gringo (starring Christian Slater); ScottD has been busy with his own writing projects; Victor Milan is working on his upcoming novel, The Dinosaur Lords; JJM has been working on numerous projects, including a novel; and the mysterious Tanzi is renovating the condo he bought.

For my part, well, I’ve been writing my butt off, too. I’ve got two comic books on the way — Sinbad, Rogue of Mars, and Dirk Benedict in the 25th Century. Both are four-issue mini-series, and the first issues of each should be out this month. I also wrote the screenplay for the movie version of Mel Smith and Clark Castillo’s comic, Dead Ahead, which is sadly just sort of drifting right now. And then there’s my own novel, Pete, Drinker of Blood, which I hope you’ll check out — it’s available in paperback and for Kindle, Nook, iBooks and more (you can get it in various formats at Smashwords, too). I also wrote a new Boone Butters story, The Bombay Beach Boys. If you like oddball crime fiction, give that one a read.

We’re hoping to get some new material up on the ol’ CM very soon now, so please bear with us. I’ve got a lot of movies I wanna watch and review, and I’m sure we’ll have plenty of other material for you, too.
